Weekly Update from Park Avenue Gymnastics!

Greetings from Park Avenue Gymnastics! Here's what's going on this week!

Saturday, December 11th: 

 Black & Blue Intersquad Optional Practice Meet!

12:00pm-4:00pm @ Park Avenue Cooper City

Come watch the Optional Team Girls compete against each other in their first practice meet of the season! Admission is FREE and everyone is welcome to come cheer them on! This is a great opportunity for recreational students to witness a real gymnastics competition first-hand, right here in their own gym! We hope to see you there!

Immediately following the Practice Meet is the Team Holiday Party for all Park Avenue Competitive Team members & their families (4pm-6pm). Team parents: information regarding the gift exchange and items to bring is available on the bulletin board in the gym and on the flyers that were sent home. We are so excited to celebrate the holidays with our Park Avenue Team members and their families! It's going to be a great time!

Sunday, December 12th: 

WESTON GET FIT FESTIVAL!

PARK AVENUE GYMNASTS WILL BE PERFORMING ON STAGE AT 8:30AM and 12:00PM!

Join Park Avenue at the Weston Get Fit Festival at Weston Town Center from 8:30AM-4PM. Park Avenue will have a booth at the event where you can win prizes and find out more information on our classes, team programs, birthday parties and camp!

Also at the Get Fit Festival!:

Free Health Tests, Live music by The First Street Heat, Miami Dolphins Jr. Training Camp, Florida Panthers Playstation Party Mobile, the Marlins Street Team, Miami Heat Dancers, Superman/Superwoman Challenge; Guest star appearance: Terry Kirby, Former Miami Dolphin. 

Demonstrations: LeBron Grimes-Florida’s Strongest Man, Powerlifting Demo; Yoga Demo; Gymnastics Demo; Cheerleading Demo; Martial Arts Demo; ZUMBA – Broward’s largest Zumba workout.

Workshops: Healthy Cooking; Training the Right Way; Selecting Proper Exercise Footwear; The Right Running Shoe; Getting Kids Excited about Eating Healthy; plus over 40 exhibitors with the latest health and wellness products and services.

TOYS FOR TOTS COLLECTION DRIVE ENDS DECEMBER 17TH!

Park Avenue is accepting donations of NEW, UNWRAPPED toys for the Marine Corp's Toys for Tots Charity foundation. Toys are being collected at both Park Avenue locations now through December 17th. Thank you for helping Park Avenue make the holidays a whole lot brighter for local underprivileged children!

Intermediate 2 and Advanced FUN Meet Sunday December 19th @ Park Avenue Cooper City!

Our Park Avenue Intermediate 2 and Advanced gymnasts will have the opportunity to experience a fun competition on Sunday, December 19th! Everyone is welcome to watch and cheer them on! For those gymnasts participating, there are still special open gym practices available to get some extra practice in before the meet. Extra practices are at Park Avenue Weston on Saturday, December 11th and Saturday December 18th from 12:30-2:00pm. Cost for extra practices is $10 per day.
